Dr. Y. Swapna is an IVF specialist at Nova IVF Guntur and Vijayawada. She specialised in OBG and Fertility in the UK. She is a renowned fertility specialist in Vijayawada and is trained in infertility in both males and females. Dr. Swapna is one of the few specialists who is trained in male infertility from the United Kingdom. She performs surgical sperm retrieval such as TESA, and PESA in males with severe male fertility issues such as azoospermia or oligospermia.
With 12+ years of experience in the United Kingdom and 8+ years in India she has performed over 2000 IVF cycles in India and 900+ IVF cycles in the United Kingdom. She has treated over 1000+ couples mostly with complicated fertility issues.
Dr. Swapna also performs female fertility surgeries for those with fibroids, uterine septum, endometrioma removal, cystectomy, and ovarian drilling among others.
Her areas of interest include women with advanced maternal age, multiple IVF failures, multiple abortions, PCOS with fertility issues. She has also published various articles and contributed to chapters in books on the management of male infertility.
