It is an advanced method that is usually a part of an IVF treatment that involves injecting the man's sperm into the woman's egg. This procedure is particularly developed to increase the chances of conception for couples with reproductive issues.
The test screens embryos for genetic disorders or chromosomal abnormalities before implantation into the woman’s uterus during IVF. The test detects viable embryos and can boost the success of IVF or IVF-ICSI methods.
The test is performed when the male partner's sperm is not found in the ejaculate. In this procedure the man's sperm is extracted straight from the testicles for fertilisation with the woman's eggs during IVF or IVF-ICSI.
It is a test to determine the amount and quality of the male's sperm. In a brief procedure, sperm is aspirated from the epididymis, which is the part of the testicle that carries the sperm.
