Dr. Vandana Bhatia has wide experience in the fields of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Infertility and comes with a rich experience of over 20+ years in the field of human reproduction. Dr. Bhatia not only offers the best treatment but also focuses on personalized care to all her patients. She believes in helping her patients understand the journey of an IVF prior to the treatment so that the couple can make an informed decision.

Her area of expertise is Advances in Assisted Reproductive Techniques (IVF, ICSI, IMSI), and Premature Ovarian Failure.

Dr. Bhatia holds an M.B.B.S degree from Govt. Medical College, Patiala and an MD degree from Dayanand Medical College Ludhiana. She has done her Senior Residency from PGIMER, Chandigarh from 2002 – 2005.

She was an Executive member of the Indian Fertility Society from 2018-19 and is a Life member of the Indian Fertility Society & FOGSI. Dr. Bhatia has also contributed to numerous publications and many chapters to textbooks.

Female Infertility Assessment

A thorough evaluation of female reproductive health to diagnose factors affecting fertility and plan appropriate treatments. Some common fertility tests for women include the pap smear, the follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) test, and the luteinizing hormone (LH) test. The process of conducting is brief and provides valuable insights into a woman's reproductive health.

Male Infertility Assessment

It is a comprehensive assesspment of male reproductive health to determine possible causes of infertility. The assessment entails a general physical examination and medical history by a doctor. The assessment provides valuable insights into your reproductive health and helps identify any underlying problems that may be impacting your fertility.

Semen Analysis

A semen analysis or a sperm count test checks both, the quantity and quality of semen and sperm. It is an examination of semen sample to assess sperm count, motility, and morphology, which is crucial for understanding male fertility status.

Intra - uterine Insemination (IUI)

The procedure entails the controlled placement of prepared sperm into the uterus to improve the chances of fertilisation during the woman's fertile window.

In-vitro Fertilisation (IVF)

A complex procedure that involves fertilising eggs with sperm outside the body in a lab and transferring resulting embryos into the uterus to achieve pregnancy.

Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)

The procedure involves injecting a single sperm directly into an egg to facilitate fertilisation, typically used when male infertility factors are present.

Pre-genetic Testing (PGT)

The test is a genetic screening of embryos before implantation in IVF to identify potential genetic abnormalities and improve the likelihood of a successful pregnancy.

Testicular sperm aspiration (TESA)

This is a minimally invasive procedure to retrieve sperm directly from the testicles for use in fertility treatments.

Percutaneous Epididymal Sperm Aspiration (PESA)

Collecting sperm from the epididymis using a fine needle for assisted reproductive procedures.

Cryopreservation

Freezing and preserving eggs, sperm, or embryos for future use, ensuring reproductive options for patients undergoing fertility treatments.
