Many failures, One miracle baby.

A couple from Puducherry, married for ten years, faced a long and challenging infertility journey, including four failed IVF cycles, three ectopic pregnancies, and one miscarriage. The wife, in her early 40s, had severely reduced egg quantity and quality, while the husband had mild male infertility. Despite previous advice to use donor eggs, the couple opted for one final attempt with their own eggs and sperm at a specialized fertility centre.

A thorough evaluation revealed critical issues: low ovarian reserve, poor egg quality, and an thin endometrium that hindered embryo implantation. The medical team implemented four months of personalized pre-treatment to synchronize follicle growth, improve egg quality, and prepare the uterus. A hysteroscopy and targeted therapies enhanced endometrial receptivity, creating an optimal environment for embryo transfer.

Following careful preparation, a successful IVF cycle was performed using two healthy embryos and embryo transfer to aid implantation. Prenatal screenings later confirmed a healthy baby, free from genetic abnormalities.
